Amplia Mundo developed for Universities New Zealand / Te Pōkai Tara / Ngā Here Mātauranga an engagement strategy to expand the outreach of the New Zealand Summit project, in Brasilia – DF. A New Zealand Maori delegation, composed of senior academics, distinguished activists and social entrepreneurs shared their views on indigenous values in contemporary times, especially on languages revitalization, cultural and economic renaissance in New Zealand. As an indigenous population, we have shared and celebrated our engagement with non-indigenous populations. The time has come now, I believe, to be able to co-create an agenda for the well-being of our respectives communities, recognizing that they both add value to our nationalities.”, Dr Darryn Russell, Assistant Vice-Chancellor Maori, University of Canterbury.
