In each of the 7 episodes, we have spoken and interviewed professionals that are international reference in the areas and businesses where they work. THE WILDERNESS ENVIRONMENTAL SAFARIS, THE LARGEST SAFARIS TOUR OPERATOR IN THE WORLD

Nature and ecotourism experiences are important jobs and income generators in South Africa. We are going to meet what is, how it thinks and what it does the company that finances conservation in more than two million hectares in the African continent through ecotourism, safaris and lodges. The Wilderness Safaris, which started three decades ago as a small Company, in Botswana, is today the largest safari tour operator in the world. We have had the privilege of visiting the Wilderness Safaris headquarters and talking with the group’s managing director for sustainability, Dr. Sue Snyman. In this very special conversation, Sue has told us about the business strategies and team values that leads the world’s largest reference business in responsible ecotourism.

PRIVATE GRANTING IN A NATIONAL PARK: RHINO POST SAFARI LODGE

Financing environmental conservation in national parks through tourism: the Rhino Post Safari Lodge is a private concession within one of the largest and best-known national parks in South Africa: the Kruger National Park. We spoke to the managing director of the lodge and a respected leader in tourism and conservation, Gerrit Meyer, who has told us what are the fundamentals of their business model, the challenges and the opportunities to operate an ecotourism lodge integrated to the African savannah, in an area of permanent conservation, with rigorous environmental rules.

SAFARI EXPERIENCE IN A PRIVATE RESERVE​: THORNYBUSH GAME LODGE

Experiences in nature are one of the great bets in international tourism. How do they contribute to make an unforgettable trip? What are the secrets behind the success of a luxury business model, a reference in the interaction between tourism and nature reserves in a private conservation area in the middle of the African savannah? In this third episode, we will talk to managers from luxury lodges and nature and safari experiences guides and discover which are the most important skills to meet the most demanding travelers; how is the management of a business that depends on quality services, excellent cuisine, very comfortable structure, and that it has in nature conservation its greatest heritage.

PIONEER BOTANIC KITCHEN: CHEF CHANTEL DARNALL (MOSAIC RESTAURANT)

Unlimited inspiration: we will discover how a gastronomic experience has been built, with the internationally awarded Chef Chantel Dartnall. Pioneer in botanical cuisine in Africa, the Mosaic Restaurant brings a concept of gastronomic destination and a multi-sensorial experience in which each plate tells a story, through a symphony of flavors. We interviewed Chef Chantel, idealizer of initiatives that exalt nature in gastronomic experiences. She tells us details of her career, where she seeks inspiration and creativity for the elaboration of her more than exclusive plates and menus, and how she leads a diverse and highly committed team that provides services of excellence with international standards.

SPICE ROUTE: A FULL EXPERIENCE DESTINATION IN THE CAPE REGION

Today we are going to visit a true destination of experiences: the unusual Spice Route, which brings together a group of creators and entrepreneurs from diversified experiences in the middle of one of the most beautiful natural landscapes of the country. From chocolate manufacturing, craft brewery, art studio, wine tasting, distillates and typical foods, everything is offered in the middle of centenary vineyards. A true celebration of the local culture! In this video we will show how a farm has transformed into a complex of services, becoming an amazing experiences destination. In addition to that, we will visit the small town of Franschhoek to discover what makes this so charming place one of the most visited destinations in South Africa.

KNOWING THE WINE SAFARI EXPERIENCE OF WATERFORD WINE ESTATE

​In Today’s episode we are going to meet the Waterford Estate, the winery that created the Wine Safari! An experience that unites several icons of the country: safaris, high quality wine and a breathtaking landscape! We interviewed one of the most recognized entrepreneurs in the country, Kevin Arnold. We are going to talk with Tim, founder of the Cape Sidecars and a passionate for the business that he has built from the restoration of BMW motorcycles used by the Chinese army in World War II.
